Monday - Friday (40 hrs/wk)
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Occasional Saturdays)

Primary Purpose:
As a mental health professional, this individual is embedded within the Health and Wellness team with the purpose of enhancing ARUP’s demonstrated commitment to mental wellbeing across the organization.

Essential Functions:
Acquires and preserves an up-to-date and detailed knowledge of the mental health services and resources available to the ARUP community, including through the Family Health Clinic, the Wellness Center, the Employee Assistance Program, the health insurance plan(s), and the community at large.
Assists individual clients, families, and work teams in identifying mental health needs, utilizing services/resources, and overcoming perceived barriers.
Performs biopsychosocial assessments, contributes to care management plans, and collaborates within the care team for high-complexity clients.
Provides evidence-based brief interventions, crisis management, and post-event debriefing.
Guides corporate mental health initiatives through their lifespan, including development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
Collaborates with an interprofessional team on the design of mental health benefits and corporate initiatives.
Advises the Health and Wellness Director on corporate mental health policy and procedures.
Ensures that all interactions and documentation strictly comply with policies and procedures.
Participates in ongoing training to maintain all certification standards and credentialing policies.
Embodies and facilitates a culture of mental health and wellbeing.
Has the ability to focus, think critically, problem-solve, collaborate, and independently manage time.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical and Other Requirements:
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Communicate: Frequently and effectively communicates with others.
PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.
ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications
Education
Required
Master's Degree or better in Psychology or related field.
Experience
Required
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field
Basic Life Support (BLS) may be obtained within 30 days of hire
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (preferred) OR Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Two (2) years of directly related experience
Written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills such as active listening, putting others at ease, relationship building, and conflict resolution
