Maintenance Person

District:  Charlevoix Public Schools

Description:  Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Boiler operation/repair - steam and hot water systems
• Machine repair
• Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
• Maintenance as assigned by the superintendent
• Fencing, bleacher repairs, etc.
• Athletic preparation
• Cleaning athletic facilities
• Lawn mowing and snow removal as assigned by the superintendent
• Landscaping and turf care
• Other duties as assigned by the superintendent

Requirements: 

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry/roofing, small motors, machinery, heating and cooling systems, pneumatic controls, turf care, field lining and preparation, and custodial
• Works well with others
• Able to follow directions
• Able to assist others
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Willing to attend training to increase knowledge in required areas.

Reports To: Superintendent

Start Date: Summer 2025

Hours:   40 hours per week (7:00 am to 3:00 pm)

Salary:  Per master agreement.

Benefits: Per master agreement.
