Primary Care Behavioral Health Specialist (1 or more positions) Location Negotiable Tribal Health Department
The successful applicant must possess a Master’s degree in a psychology, social work, nursing or other relevant behavioral health field preferred. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field such as in clinical social work. One-year clinical experience conducting suicide risk assessment, hospitalization processes, and crisis planning and triage preferred. Knowledge of psychiatric medications, symptom interference, crisis triage and evidence-based interventions, treatment planning, and behavioral activation, preferred. Licensure under the State Board of Licensing for scope of practice such as Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinically Social Worker. May possess provisional candidate licensure status in accordance with the Montana Board of Behavioral Health Licensing. Must have valid Montana State driver’s license. Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, a copy of academic transcript/degree, certifications, licensure, copy of valid driver’s license, if claiming Tribal preference, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veteran’s preference, a copy of the DD214 must be submitted. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION DURING THE SCREENING PROCESS. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy and subject to random drug testing. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period. Salary is negotiable.
