Help Desk and Audio Visual Technician
Morningside University is accepting applications for the full-time, 12-month position of Help Desk and Audio Visual Technician. This position works as a member of the Information Services team to ensure that timely, effective computer and classroom audio-visual technology support is provided to the students, faculty and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous and timely repair and support for Windows and Mac desktops/laptops
- Maintain and configure audio visual and telepresence equipment in classrooms and meeting rooms
- Maintain software installs and configurations installed on college issued equipment and maintain systems for distributing software
- Assist in supporting the campus telephone system
- Prepare, update, and publish technical documentation
- Plan, design, and execute classroom equipment upgrades
- Occasionally provide support for the technical needs of special events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician with certifications for applicable models A +, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), networking, and other industry certifications.
- Extron Control Professional and Extron AV Associate certifications.
- Three years customer service experience in a technical environment.
