Marketing Data Scientist sought by Priceline.com LLC (Norwalk, CT): Run the day-to-day operations for one of our major third-party distribution channels (Google, Bing, Kayak, TripAdvisor or Trivago). Requires Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics or related field of study & 5 years of experience in Big Data Management, data analysis working with large data sets & presenting insights to senior management. Will accept Master's degree & 3 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree & 5 years of experience. Experience specified must include 5 years' experience (or 3 years if Master's) with each of the following: Tableau or equivalent data visualization tool: creating self-service dashboards, subscriptions & animated dashboards to reflect core metrics for usage by senior management; Working with data blending techniques utilizing Oracle (PL/SQL); Writing & using repeatable & efficient SQL scripts using Common Table Expressions, Windows functions, stored procedures, subqueries & appropriate joins; Utilizing Splunk, VBA, & MS Excel Macros; Data cleaning (transformations), data dimensionality reduction, & performing advanced analysis with several statistical methods, such as regression, correlation, forecasting principles; & descriptive, diagnostic, exploratory & predictive analysis. Experience specified must include 2 years' experience with Project Management & Client or Account management. Experience specified must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: R using data.table, data.frame, dplyr, tidyr, ggplot, OCI data connections, MASS (chi-square distributions), & stringr (str_detect, regex); Machine Learning techniques; & Google Cloud Platform Big Query.
