Deputy Clerk
Tabernacle Township is seeking a full-time Deputy Clerk.
Possession of a Registered Municipal Clerk Certification (RMC) is preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all of the statutory duties pursuant to NJSA 40A:9-133 et.seq., preparing Township Committee agendas, and meeting minutes, noticing, attending meetings of the Township Committee, processing OPRA requests, issuing licenses and permits, assisting with the administration of elections, record management duties, process mail daily, and perform other assigned duties in accordance with state and local laws.
Applicant must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with elected officials, department heads, employees, volunteers, and the public. Microsoft Word proficiency is required.
Tabernacle Township is an EOE. Salary commensurate with experience.
This is not a remote position, the employee will be required to be in the office.
